AI Engineer – Remote First – Day Rate Contract

Day Rate: €400 – €500 

We’re hiring an AI Engineer for a rapidly growing organization delivering cutting-edge technology solutions within their industry. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to work on impactful, greenfield projects as part of their expanding investment in AI and ML across the business.

In this hands-on, technical role, you’ll be responsible for developing proof-of-concept solutions across a variety of initiatives. You’ll work with a modern tech stack, including Python, PyTorch, GCP, and Docker, in a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering team.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in AI/ML engineering, a working knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), and a passion for delivering innovative, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build AI/ML proof-of-concept solutions based on business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects
• Work within a modern stack: Python, PyTorch, GCP, Docker, and related tools
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and knowledge-sharing

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven track record of delivering proof-of-concept projects
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Other:

• Day Rate: €400 – €500
• Location: Remote First (Candidates must be currently located in Ireland)
• Initial contract with strong potential for extension
