Salary: €100,000 – €120,000 p.a.

TechHeads are actively seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to take ownership for the successful delivery of a strategic Business/Digital Transformation Project to support future business objectives. This role includes responsibility for the overall project objectives & ensuring that the desired project outcomes are achieved in accordance with the defined schedule; timeline and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Full end to end project delivery responsibility
• Drive the definition of Project Plans – ensuring an agreed plan is in place and milestones are clearly understood by the project team (ownership, dependencies, etc.).
• Work in co-operation with the Business Owner(s) to co-ordinate and drive delivery applying Project Management Tools and Methodologies to enable project success.
• Ensure that project scope and progress matches business priorities. Take necessary action to address departures from plan and/or scope.
• Manage project scope through a pre agreed and structured Programme Governance Structure.
• Manage the project budget, updating forecasts throughout the project lifecycle adhering to all relevant approvals processes
• Track and manage Project Status Incl. Issues, Risks, dependencies & and resource plans,
• Report to Project Steering committee, escalating issues where required and preparing project updates suitable for senior management
• Co-ordinate project deliveries from various groups, ensure that various streams / stakeholder groups are aligned to the project objectives.

Experience:

• 8+ years operating as a Senior Project Manager with a number of years’ experience working in a Digital / Online environment
• Proven track record in delivery of complex projects and programmes.
• Experience of working in and managing customer and vendor relationships in a matrixed management environment
• The ability to communicate and influence a wide range of business stakeholders internally and externally.
• Ideally educated to degree level, in conjunction with Project Management qualification.
• Knowledge of general insurance solutions and typical solution architectures is a plus.
• Clear ability to determine and address business requirements with effective solutions.
• Familiarity with a variety of project management methodologies, tools and change management approaches / techniques.
• Able to effectively estimate the effort required to plan, architect and deliver solutions and to correctly set customer expectations.
• Strong organisational skills, with ability to make decisions independently, escalating appropriately.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to both technical and non-technical audiences.
