Director – Healthcare Data and AI Platform Modernisation

We’re hiring a Director – Azure Data Modernisation to join a growing Data & AI team in Ireland.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who has deep experience working within national or large-scale healthcare systems, and who can operate confidently in a client-facing environment — leading presales conversations, shaping strategy, and influencing key stakeholders.

You will play a central role in building credibility across major healthcare programmes, supporting tender preparation, and helping shape the delivery of large-scale healthcare data modernisation initiatives over the next 12+ months.

This role requires a strong mix of technical depth, healthcare system knowledge, and consulting leadership.

Specific experience is required in the following – EHR (Electronic Health Record), PAS (Patient Administration System) and SRC (Summary Care Record SRC).

The successful candidate will have experience modernising how healthcare organisations manage and enable the secondary use of data, including designing and implementing Trusted Research Environments (TREs).

You will work closely with architecture and delivery teams, supporting proof of concepts, shaping solution designs, and driving stakeholder alignment across complex healthcare ecosystems.

This is a key hire for a growing team — flexibility and comfort operating in an evolving environment is essential.

Required:

• Senior leadership experience in Data & AI / Data Modernisation roles
• Strong Azure expertise across modern data architecture
• Deep experience working within healthcare systems (public or private)
• Proven understanding of secondary use of healthcare data and governance
• Experience designing or implementing Trusted Research Environments (TREs)
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and lead client-facing discussions
• Strong presales capability (presentations, shaping proposals, influencing decision-making)
• Comfortable working with technical teams to guide architecture and delivery
• Experience working across complex national-scale data platforms and integrations
• Open to candidates relocating to Ireland (relocation support available)

Compensation: €150,000 – €170,000 DOE
