TechHeads are delighted to partner with a long standing leader in Ireland’s transport, mobility, and intelligent traffic systems sector. As the organisation continues to scale nationwide, they are now hiring a Head of Delivery – Public Sector Transport to oversee the successful delivery of major national transport and mobility programmes.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on delivery environment and is comfortable working closely with public-sector stakeholders, engineering teams, and senior leadership to move projects forward.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading delivery across public-sector transport and mobility projects.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring programmes remain on schedule.
• Working directly with bodies such as the NTA, local authorities, and transport operators.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, software, contracts, and administration.
• Managing governance, reporting, risk, budgeting, and delivery readiness.
• Representing the organisation at senior meetings and stakeholder engagements.
• Being fully onsite Monday–Friday to support and guide the wider team.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in transport, ITS, engineering, mobility, or public-sector infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Ireland’s transport landscape and public bodies.
• Proven ability to deliver multi-stakeholder projects at pace.
• A confident communicator who can influence, coordinate, and bring teams together.
• Hands-on, solutions-driven, and comfortable taking ownership.
