IT Manager (Contract)

 6-Month Contract | Hybrid (Kerry) | €500 – €600 per day DOE

TechHeads is seeking a highly skilled IT Manager with a strong background in infrastructure architecture to lead the technical oversight and delivery assurance of a critical infrastructure transformation  programme.

In this high-impact role, you’ll act as the key technical liaison between our organisation and a third-party vendor, ensuring infrastructure solutions are delivered to the highest standards. This contract has strong visibility of long-term extension to support further implementation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for infrastructure platform delivery.
• Validate and review high-level and low-level design documents from third-party vendors.
• Oversee the configuration and build of technical environments to ensure alignment with agreed specifications.
• Review test plans and verify documented outcomes.
• Approve completion of work packages and resolve delivery challenges as they arise.
• Assess and validate migration plans and ensure a seamless transition of services.
• Collaborate closely with the Implementation Manager and Head of IT & Technology for successful migration execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects in high-availability or regulated environments.
• Deep understanding of Windows Server infrastructure, networking, and best practices in IT operations.
• Strong background in solution design, infrastructure documentation, and technical validation
• Ability to work confidently with third-party vendors and ensure quality-driven delivery.
• Skilled in managing SLAs, tracking milestones, and maintaining technical excellence.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
