TechHeads is seeking a motivated L1 IT Support Engineer to join a large-scale Irish organisation based in Dublin. This role will allow you to build your technical skillset while working with a skilled Enterprise Services team, allowing for fantastic career growth in a well-established company.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to over 600 internal users while gaining experience with modern tools such as the Microsoft Suite, InTune and Cloud technologies. Giving you the opportunity to develop and future-proof your career with in-demand tech.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver first-line support via phone, email, and desk-side assistance to internal users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, telephony, and network issues.
• Record, prioritise, and manage incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
• Collaborate with Level 2 support, third-party vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct daily health and security checks, identifying and escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT services and processes.
• Actively participate in regular IT team meetings and contribute to service improvements.

Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar IT support/helpdesk role.
• Proficient in Windows 11 setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft Office and M365 applications.
• Familiarity with Active Directory (user and group management).
• Experience with file sharing solutions (OneDrive or server-based) and networked printing.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN/LAN.
• Basic hardware knowledge (e.g. memory upgrades, hard drive replacement).

Nice to Have:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Identity Management, and Microsoft Intune.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: €34,000 – €44,000 DOE
