Principal Cloud Architect – €850 – €900 Per Day DOE

We are working with a leading organisation within the Financial Services / Insurance sector who are seeking an experienced Principal Cloud Architect to join their team on a daily rate contract basis with an immediate start.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale technology Cloud transformation programme, with the initial focus centred around enterprise integration, messaging, and data architecture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, resilient solutions across a complex technology landscape, working closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and wider architecture functions to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and deliver end-to-end solution architecture across enterprise platforms
• Design and implement integration solutions, messaging patterns, and microservice architectures
• Support the evolution of hybrid technology landscapes across on-premise and cloud environments
• Provide architectural guidance across application, integration, and data domains
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Support delivery teams through architecture governance and implementation

Required Experience:

• Proven experience working as a Principal Cloud Architect within complex enterprise environments
• Strong background designing and implementing Message Queue / Messaging Architectures
• Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration
• Experience across both on-premise and cloud-based environments
• Experience delivering architecture solutions within Financial Services, Insurance, or other highly regulated industries
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Contract Details:
Location: Dublin
Start Date: Immediate/ ASAP.
Daily Rate: €800- €900 per day

Contract Duration: 6 month, highly likely to extend.
