Senior Cyber Security Engineer – New Team – Day Rate Contract

Day Rate: €600 – €7000 DOE

TechHeads is currently partnered with a growing organisation who are currently establishing a new Cyber Security team in Dublin. You will join this team as the first Cybersecurity Engineer reporting directly to the new Head of Cyber Security and play a key role in the build-out of this team and function.

This is a hands-on technical position where you will be responsible for building new cybersecurity solutions working in a hybrid (on-prem and Azure Cloud) Microsoft environment.

The Ideal candidate will have experience working on enterprise-scale platforms, firewalls, monitoring tools, penetration testing, application security, Cloud security, SIEM, and much more.

This is a greenfield environment where you will be building and engineering new solutions from the ground up with a rapidly growing organisation allowing you to have an impact on a global organisations Cyber Security function.

Please note this is a Senior Cyber Security Engineer position, and requires the individual to be on-site 5 days per week.

This is initially a 6-month day rate contract with the potential to roll for up to 24 months.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience delivering Cyber Security engineering solutions.
• Strong expertise in firewalls, SIEM, monitoring tools, cloud security, vulnerability management, and application security.
• Relevant Cyber Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Azure, etc. 
• Experience working in a greenfield environment and scaling security infrastructure in a growing company is advantageous.

Candidates must be currently located in Ireland, hold an EU Passport or Stamp 4 visa, and be available to come on-site 5 days per week.

Day Rate: €600 – 700 DOE
