Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
- Actively engage with customers and market stakeholders via workshops, focus groups, and 1-1 sessions to deeply understand their challenges, workflows, and needs.
- Build strong relationships with key customers to serve as their advocate during the product development process.
- Requirements Gathering:
- Capture and document detailed business and technical requirements.
- Prioritize and refine customer needs into well-structured Epics, Features, and User Stories that align with business objectives.
- Backlog Engagement:
- Maintain a clear and transparent product backlog.
- Prioritize work for the agile development team, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and customer value.
- Continuously refine backlog items with input from customers, stakeholders, and the development team.
- Collaboration with Development Teams:
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers, stakeholders, and the agile team.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure the team delivers value consistently.
- Provide clarity to developers on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about product updates, roadmaps, and timelines.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement and product delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, or similar role in a SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working with development teams in an agile setting.
- Exceptional ability to gather, analyse, and prioritize customer requirements, translating them into actionable development tasks.
- Outstanding communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops and customer meetings confidently.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing, Pharma or Medical Device industries, is highly desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, DevOps, Azure or similar platforms for backlog creation, management and collaboration
- .Net, Web Services, HTML, XML experience is a nice to have
- Education, Professional Qualifications:
- BSc Computer Science or equivalent
- Agile certification
- Microsoft certification a bonus
