Solution/ Enterprise Architect

Location: Co. Clare (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Salary: Up to €110,000 + 10% Bonus

Type: Permanent

TechHeads is partnering with a global organisation to hire an experienced Solution Architect to join a large-scale technology transformation programme.

Reporting to the Group CIO, you’ll play a key role in modernising enterprise applications, driving cloud adoption and shaping solution and enterprise architecture across a complex technology landscape. This position offers the opportunity to work on business-critical systems while influencing long-term technology strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications.
• Define architecture standards, roadmaps and technical designs.
• Lead application modernisation and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Design scalable, resilient solutions across Java-based enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years’ experience in Solution, Enterprise or Software Architecture.
• Strong enterprise integration and application architecture experience.
• Background working within Java-based environments.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Essential: Stamp 4 and EU Citizen candidates only.

Compensation:

• €90,000 – €110,000 DOE
• 10% annual bonus
• Hybrid working (3 days onsite)
• Occasional international travel (every 6 weeks for 2–3 days)
