Solutions Architect – Greenfield Project Delivery

TechHeads is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to lead the design, integration, and optimisation of Shared Service systems within the public sector. This role will oversee system operations, digital transformation initiatives, and external vendor management, ensuring seamless system performance and long-term scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for external developers and suppliers, ensuring smooth collaboration and system integration.
• Oversee system operations, identifying opportunities for optimization and performance enhancements.
• Design, procure, and implement infrastructure solutions to enhance digital platforms and services.
• Develop architecture requirements, including sequence diagrams and data flow documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with security, governance, and data protection standards.
• Conduct security testing and work with developers to resolve vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical support and training for both internal and external users.
• Present to senior management and stakeholders, translating business strategy into technical solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in solution architecture, infrastructure design, and IT system administration/support.
• Strong expertise in system integration, business process optimization, and digital transformation.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end solution delivery, from gathering business requirements to BAU transition.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both developers and business leaders.
• Industry knowledge in transport, aviation, logistics, or public sector environments is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable navigating both high-level business strategy and hands-on technical implementation.
