IT Support Lead – High-Level Ownership, Hybrid Working

TechHeads is partnering with a growing Irish organisation to hire an IT Support Lead. This is a permanent role where you’ll lead the IT helpdesk, manage escalations, and support the engineering team in a hands-on, collaborative environment, offering real ownership of service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong IT support experience, some leadership exposure, and a solid understanding of ITIL. You’ll oversee SLA performance, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement across end-user and business systems, allowing you to balance technical work with team and stakeholder engagement.

You’ll be joining a people-focused company that supports progression and flexible working, offering excellent work-life balance. The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days per week onsite across multiple Dublin office locations.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT support, with exposure to senior or team lead responsibilities
  • Proven ability to take ownership of a service desk and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical experience across end-user support, business applications, and core systems
  • Experience working with ITIL processes, including incident and change management
  • Strong communication skills with experience engaging both teams and stakeholders
  • Hold a full Irish driving licence and have own transport.

Compensation:

  • Salary: €55,000 – €65,000 DOE
