TechHeads is partnering with a growing organisation to hire their first Human Resource Business Partner in Ireland to support their expanding Irish operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of the full employee lifecycle in Ireland while working closely with an established HR team across Ireland and the UK.
The business currently employs 28 people in Ireland and expects to grow to over 35 by the end of the year, creating plenty of opportunity for the successful candidate to make a real impact, with future plans to scale in the coming years.
This role would suit a proactive HR professional who enjoys being the go-to person on the ground, building strong stakeholder relationships, driving employee engagement initiatives, and supporting managers across the business.

The Opportunity
As the dedicated HR presence in Ireland, you will work closely with the UK HR team while taking ownership of day-to-day HR operations locally. You’ll support everything from onboarding and employee engagement through to policy implementation, learning and development initiatives, benefits administration, and people-related projects. This is a hands-on role where attitude, initiative, and relationship-building skills are just as important as technical HR knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle across the Irish business
- Support recruitment activities including interview coordination and candidate management
- Prepare contracts, offers, and onboarding documentation
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives across the business
- Drive employee engagement activities, wellbeing initiatives, and social events
- Support benefits administration and act as a liaison with payroll providers
- Analyse employee engagement data and help identify improvement opportunities
- Support policy implementation and compliance with Irish employment legislation
- Assist with HR process improvements and documentation
- Build strong relationships with managers and employees across multiple project teams
Required:
- 2+ years experience working in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or HR Coordinator position
- Strong understanding of Irish employment legislation
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
- Confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders
- Process-driven with strong organisational skills
- Able to challenge constructively and provide balanced HR guidance when required
- Self-starter who enjoys working autonomously
- CIPD qualification is advantageous, but experience is valued more highly
Compensation:
Base salary: €45,000 – €55,000 DOE
Healthcare, Pension, 24 Day annual leave, educational and training support.
Please note: Candidate must be located in Ireland and hold an Irish or EU Passport. Candidates must have experience working in an HR position previously; agency recruitment experience alone will not be considered for this position.
