Voice Engineer – Remote-First, High-Level Ownership

TechHeads is partnering with an exciting Irish product company as they seek an experienced Voice Engineer to join their team. You will work on innovative AI-powered, cloud-native communication products, giving you the opportunity to contribute to technology that will shape cutting-edge platforms.

This is a newly created position in the company meaning you will have strong ownership of voice engineering decisions and play a key role in designing and evolving the company’s SIP and VoIP architecture. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to influence how the organisation builds and scales its voice capabilities from the ground up.

The company operates a remote-first model for candidates based in Ireland, allowing you to work with flexibility while collaborating with a modern engineering team. This position provides and excellent opportunity to gain exposure to cutting-edge AI and cloud technologies while making a direct impact on the development of a growing platform.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience working with SIP, VoIP, RTP and SBC technologies.
• Experience integrating enterprise telephony platforms (Avaya, Alvaria, Cisco CUBE or similar).
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, QoS).
• Experience working across AWS, Azure and hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.
• Knowledge of voice security protocols (TLS, SRTP, SIP authentication).
• Currently residing in Ireland with an EU Passport or Stamp 4 Visa.
